PORT ARTHUR, Texas – The Lamar State College Seahawks men's basketball team hits the road for the first time this season with two games at the East West Challenge in Plano, Texas.

 

The Seahawks (3-0) face Collin College at 2 p.m. Friday and Midland College at 10 a.m. Saturday. Both games will be streamed on TSBNSports.com.

 

The Seahawks are coming off a 113-60 win over Southwest Community Christian College on Saturday. LSCPA had seven scorers in double figures, led by sophomore Isaiah Brooks (Houston/Legacy School of Sport Sciences), who had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

 

"We are going to face two really good teams," Madison said. "It's a prestigious tournament. These are the types of teams we will see when we get into region play."

 

The Seahawks' next home game is 6 p.m. Nov. 19 against Concordia University.
