PORT ARTHUR, Texas – Martins Adonry's double-double powered the Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawks to a 90-81 win over the visiting Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers in a Region XIV men's basketball game on Saturday.
Adonry had 17 points and a season-high 17 rebounds as the Seahawks (9-6 overall 3-4 Region XIV) improved to 9-1 in the friendly confines of the Carl Parker Multipurpose Center.

The game was tied at 38 at halftime and was close for the first 10 minutes of the second half before the Seahawks went on a 12-0 run to take control.
"We got back-to-back crucial stops, and we built off of that," Madison said. "We hit our free throws down the stretch to help seal the win."
Tony Montgomery had game highs of 24 points and nine assists to lead Bossier Parish (8-7, 2-5).
