BOSSIER CITY, La. – Christian Andrews scored 25 points to lead four Lamar State College Port Arthur Seahawks in double figures, but the Seahawks dropped a 90-77 decision to the host Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers in a Region XIV men's basketball game Wednesday evening.

It was a season best for Andrews, but the Seahawks couldn't withstand a barrage of 17 3-pointers by the Cavaliers. Bossier Parish hit 10 3-pointers in the second half to rally from a 43-36 halftime deficit. J'Mar Franklin had 17 points for LSCPA (12-15 overall, 6-13 Region 14). Martins Adonry had 13 points, while Zion Young finished with 11 points.

Drew Cooper connected on five 3-pointers as part of a 25-point night for Bossier Parish (10-17, 4-15) as the Cavaliers avenged a 90-81 loss to the Seahawks earlier this season in Port Arthur.

The Seahawks are at Navarro College at 4 p.m. Saturday before returning home to host Angelina College at 7 p.m. March 4 in the final home game of the season at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center.
