A handful of Seahawks softball players proved they were as accomplished in the classroom as they were on the field this season, earning NJCAA Region 14 All-Academic honors for the 2022-23 season.

Jasmin Benitez, Haleigh Hughes, Ashley Rojas, Libbi Rozell, and Sydney Staton each earned Region 14 All-Academic Team honors for the 2023 season.

Benitez, a Business Administration major from Houston, graduated Cum Laude with a 3.51 grade points average. Hughes, a freshman from Elkhart, Texas, earned a spot on the President's List durind the Spring 2023 semester.

Rojas, a sophomore from Houston, earned her degree in Process Technology, with a 3.51 GPA to graduate Cum Laude. Staton, a sophomore from Clear Creek, Texas, also graduated with a degree in Business Administration. She earned a Cum Laude honor with a 3.53 GPA.
