Lamar State College Port Arthur and Adam Scherbakov made their mark on the history books as the Seahawks beat North American University 145-51 led by Sherbakov's eight 3-pointers on Friday, November 4, at the Carl Parker Center.

The win represents the highest point total in a single game and the largest victory margin in the men's basketball program history. The previous record for both was a 129-45 win over Houston Community College in November 2013.

Scherbakov scored a game-high 31 points with eight 3s, good enough for second place all-time in team history, tying him with four others. Ty Archibald holds the top spot with nine treys in 2021.

The Seahawks improve to 2-0 with the win and face Good Vision Academy on Wedneday, Nov. 9.

Avontez Ledet poured in 22 points and Ray Ford Jr. added 20 for the Seahawks.

LSC-PA put the game away early racing out to a 59-19 halftime lead.
