Guidry scores 24 in East-West loss to South Plains College

A second-half comeback got the Seahawks close but Lamar State College Port Arthur wasn't able to pull off the win, falling to South Plains College 85-72 in the second day of the East-West Challenge at Collin County Community College in Plano on Saturday, November 12.

The Hawks fell to 3-2 with the loss and head back to the Carl Parker Center for a non-conference home game against Strength N Motion on November 15.

LSCPA guard Deuce Guidry knocked down six 3-pointers en route to a 24-point game-high tally, adding four assists and two steals. Long-ball ace Adam Scherbakov hit five 3s of his own, finishing with 19 points with three rebounds while Simeon Richardson-Collins added eight points and eight rebounds in the effort for the Hawks.
